Brinley is a sleeper!!

     So last night we went to a Christmas party with our Life Group (a small bible study group) at the Halbgewach's house. It was lots of fun to show off our beautiful new baby and spend some time with our friends. (side note: Our life group is such an amazing group of people. Everyone has a servant heart and is willing to help even when they have little themselves. I couldn't ask for a better group of people to "Do Life" with). The kids of the Life Group had a little nativity show for us which was totally hilarious. Then we had the middle school carolers from our church stop by to carol to us (I LOVE CAROLERS!!). We ate chili, potato soup, etc and drank cider and  took some tests played some fun games. Brinley slept through almost all of the party. She got very hungry at the end and mommy was ready to feed her so we headed home around 10p. She ate until about eleven and then SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT! I wanted to see if she would really do it since I was always waking her up to feed her throughout the night and she slept until 6am. I feel like I should be waking her to feed her, but I also feel like she needs her sleep. I'll be asking the pediatrician on Tuesday (her first doctor's appointment!!) about her opinion. We are going to check out this pediatrician (Dr. Psota) and see what mommy thinks. We've heard good things about her.
      So she woke up about 6am this morning, ate until about 7am, and played with mommy until 11a. Then she ate and her and mommy napped until 1p. She ate until 1:30p and then Rich, Sandy, Hilary, and Great Grandma Jean stopped by. It was very nice seeing them. Brinley slept through the entire visit and is still sleeping (2:45p). She just can't get enough sleep!
      I also can't get over how much she is growing. Her little newborn skin is filling up with chunky fat already! Grandma Cindy is going to freak out when she sees how much Brinley has changed. It's all going by so fast! She will be two weeks old on Monday! Mommy can't get over it.
      Well... enough random stories I better get some cleaning done. :-)
