WOTYC -- Interrupted

Today was "Wear Your Best Wednesday" and it was also picture day at work. This makes the day quite hectic so, needless to say, we didn't end up taking any of our own pictures today. Brinley was quite grumpy (which, turns out, is because she is currently cutting THREE teeth) and she cried through the Lifetouch photos. Ahhh... the joys of motherhood! So instead of giving you a post full of photos of us, we will teach you how to make Kale Chips!

Ever tasted kale? If you have, I know what you are thinking... raw kale is SICKENING! But these kale chips are sure to delight everyone in the family. They are light, crisp, and delicious! Here's how I made them:

1) Take kale off of stem and rip into bite-sized pieces.

2) Drizzle with a small amount of olive oil and garlic salt (rub to ensure proper coverage).

3) Bake on cookie sheet at 375 degrees for about 16 minutes.

4) While they are baking, find THIS is what Brinley has been doing the past three minutes:

5) Help her clean up toys and movies

6) Enjoy kale chips!

These are the only photos I got of the finished product:

She kept saying "Cheeps.... Cheeps"

"Nummy nummy nummy!"

So go on.... give them a shot! You have nothing but some cheap kale to lose!

See ya tomorrow for "Totally Team Thursday"!

ps- Brinley peed on the potty today!!! :-D
