Random-ocity

Hey there! Welcome to "The Baker Bustle". In order to keep with the name, we are always bustling around here. To and fro. Hither and yon. But never really getting the laundry done. :-(
We have been bustling so much that I have lost track of this blog. Lemme catch me nearly ALL THE WAY up by posting this random-ocity. Check it out--

First bath together 03.26.12

She LOVED having him in her bath
Lemonade ... this means SUMMER!!

My ALWAYS DIRTY daughter

First bike ride with Mommy! :-D

First time climbing the stairs 04.03.12

Brinley drew Daddy. As she was drawing she said
"Head. Eyes. Nose. Mouth. Eyebrow. Eyebrow. Eyebrow."
Yep. He has THAT kind of eyebrow. :-D

Not sure if I put this on here before but it is SUPER ADORABLE!

Brinley came into our room one day and acted as if she was on the phone. It was odd because she was holding SOMETHING up to her ear. Check it out:
Brinley pretending to be on the phone
Daddy joined in too!

THIS was the phone...
a little broken-off rubber piece from my suitcase.
Oh the imagination!

We also got to spend some time at Grammie Gorn and Grandpa Jiggers' house!:

Brinley was feeding Kyle some watermelon

Titus and Dan

There's our Grandpa Jiggers! :-D

Grandpa Jiggers, Grammie Gorn, Brinley, and the giant puppy

Brinley was jealous that Titus gets to take a bath in the sink. So I hooked her up with a sink bath... she thought it was pretty cool!

Finally, we spent some time with Uncle Todd--

 Ahhhh... nearly caught-up! Yay!

Easter

Hey! Still in catch-up mode so I'll be quick.... here's what we did for Easter week:

We "Egged" our friends by leaving candy-filled eggs all over their yard-

We had a "Last Supper" re-enactment-
Figs, olive oil, olives, unleavened bread

Lamb, bitter herbs, pomegranate, grape juice, fish

We made "tombs" on Good Friday-
First a tortilla covered in chocolate frosting

Add green coconut flakes for grass

Add big weird Little Debbie
star crunch thing, molded into tomb shape

Nilla wafer completes the project as the stone

Roger just rolled it up into a nasty-looking burrito
 Brinley's first Easter-Egg Hunt
(we hunt lambs at our house-- I like the symbolism)--

Puppet show

Waiting, waiting, waiting...

Daddy was "helping her sort them"

And worship. HE IS RISEN!!
Me: "He is Risen!"
Brinley "He is Risendeed"

And they've grown up pretty well!! :-)
